AUDITIONS: Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st starting at 7:00 p.m.

CALL BACKS: Saturday, November 4th - 12:00 p.m.

REHEARSALS: Mondays & Thursdays, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Sundays, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Commencing Sunday, November 26th)

PERFORMANCES: February 23, 24, 25, 28, March 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 2018


Synopsis: Jeff and Hunter, two struggling writers, hear about a new musical theatre festival. However, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose, the pair decides to try to create something new with the help of their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry on the keyboard. They decide to write about what to write about and keep on writing up until the festival’s deadline. They perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists.

Auditions will consist of a cold reading from the script and one contemporary musical theatre song not from [title of show]. Sides will be provided. Please read the script before auditioning.

Please note you must be available for call backs if required. ALSO, ANY CONFLICTS WITH THE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE SHOULD BE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF AUDITION.

PLEASE NOTE: East Side Players is a non-profit, non-Equity community theatre group. We do not pay actors for performances or cast ACTRA and Equity members. If you are cast in the show you MUST become a member of East Side Players. Membership fees are $25.00 and are due no later than the first rehearsal.
